Inconceivable

It’s very simple dialectics. One through nine,
no maybes, no supposes, no fractions.
Dialectic logic is there’s only love and hate,
you either love somebody or you hate them.
         ~The Photojournalist, Apocalypse Now!

I think he was thinking of dichotomous
which properly speaking proposes
counterparts diametrically opposed
   love and hate
      darkness and light
         yin and yang
            God and mammon
               Dickinson and Whitman

But this is the dialectic
two such truths striving
to yield further truth
   like Rumi’s field
      dusk
         harmony
            liberty
               Neruda
